KIMONO KOLLAB – Vintage KIMONO revived by New Zealand Top Fashion Designers
KIMONO KOLLAB has a project that is to collaborate New Zealand Top Fashion Designers and show the re-born Kimono items on the stage of New Zealand Fashion Week. This is a generous offer of tie up even from New Zealand Fashion Week, however, the team still needs to cover the soft-cost of $25,000 to realize this great opportunity of cross-cultural event.
Here are the producer, Noriko’s messages.
“We, KIMONO KOLLAB team would like to ask for your sponsorship, one unit NZ$5,000 per company/organization/group/individual. If the cash is not significant enough, a contra component such as products in bags, shoes, freight and other services like photo shooting, printing, etc., will also be provided by sponsors. New Zealand Fashion Week has a huge media coverage, there are great benefits for sponsors.
KIMONO KOLLAB’s main objectives are
– to forge cross-cultural ties between New Zealand and Japan
– to raise awareness for the textile traditions of Japan
– to support and promote the New Zealand fashion industry, at home and abroad
– to raise awareness of the merits of recycling and upcycling in general
Please help this wonderful project, KIMONO KOLLAB make this happen!!”
