Japanese card game Carta!

The word karuta is Japanese card game.

We do this card game especially in the new year.

The picture and numbers character was written in those cards.

And you match the cards after speaker read the sentences.

In Edo era, the Portuguese brought this kind of game to Japan.

That’s why we call it Carta, which means card in Portuguese.

I often play Carta in my English class.

Flags Carta is so much fun.

You can learn Flags of the world’s countries during playing.

By the hiragana surrounded by a circle in tips, you can take the bills.

If you get more cards you’re the winner of the game.

Carta below is what traditional Japanese.
